Uniform:
All students must follow our Uniform and Equipment Rules upon entry to Hurstmere School grounds. The uniform is required whilst on school site and in all lessons. Our Uniform and Equipment expectations are explained below:

All students must wear:
- Black blazer with the embossed Hurstmere school badge.
- Black tailored trousers (no jeans, cords, chinos or tracksuit bottoms).
- A white collared shirt, tucked into your trousers.
- Hurstmere tie (which always displays at least 3 stripes).
- Plain black shoes (no trainer-style shoes or trainers).
- Black socks (no white socks or PE socks to be worn with the day-to-day uniform).
- Plain black V-neck jumper (no designer emblems to be seen).
- A dark coat for wet weather (no hoodie-style coats, leather or denim jackets).
- Prohibited items: jewellery, caps, hooded sweatshirts.
- Full PE Kit Requirements : Students are expected to attend all PE lessons in the correct full kit, which includes:
- Outdoor long-sleeved logo top
- Indoor short-sleeved logo top
- Red shorts
- Indoor short white trainer socks
- Outdoor long red football socks

For colder weather, a Hurstmere logo fleece tracksuit may also be worn; however, this is optional and not compulsory.
All students must carry:
- School bag to hold A4 items
- Full pencil case
- A reading book
Students must NOT have:

Loaned uniform items are provided by the Pastoral Team. Failure to adhere to the uniform rules will result in a sanction, removal from lessons and/or confiscation of items.
