The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support those pupils identified as being at a disadvantage compared to their peers.

The funds should be used to support those pupils in accessing the resources they need to play a full part in the life of the school, as well as to narrow the nationally recognised attainment gap between this group and their peers.

We encourage parents to register their child for Free School Meals as the school will then receive additional funds to support this specific group of students. If you think your child may be eligible for Free School Meals, then please consult the following website for advice and complete the application form : Free School Meal Eligibility Checker

It is up to schools themselves to decide how to spend the Pupil Premium funds.
